This hibiscus flower was taken in my garden here in the philippines. One sunny morning when I walk around my garden I saw this beautiful hibiscus blooming in my garden. I get my camera and took a close-up shot of this beautiful flower. The flowers are large, conspicuous, trumpet-shaped, with five or more petals, ranging from white to pink, red, purple or yellow, and from 4-15 cm broad.The color of the Hibiscus grows darker as it ages. The fruit is a dry five-lobed capsule, containing several seeds in each lobe, which are released when the capsule splits open at maturity. That's a pretty pink and yet double variety of hibiscus. Its dried flowers can be used as drink and they call it "agua de jamaica".
