This waterfalls was taken last year when my friends and I visited Iligan City. We had fun swimming and taking pictures. Tinago falls is a waterfall in Iligan City in the Southern Philippine Island of Mindanao. It is one of the main tourist attraction in Iligan City. Tinago is a filipino term meaning "hidden", the falls being hidden in a deep ravine. Going to the falls requires approximately 500 descending steps called the winding staircase. The falls is approximately 240 feet high, it is very cold water cascading beautifully into a deep and calm basin-like pool which appears like a blue colored lagoon. Under the falls is a small cave where people can enter and listen to the rumbling waters. There was indeed much joy in discovering the majestic falls. Even if it was a very long trip it's worth it.
